Legal/Cookies
Cookie policy.
Last updated 20 April 2026
We use a small number of cookies. Almost all of them strictly necessary for the service to work. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It can hold something like a session ID (so you stay signed in) or a preference (so the site remembers a setting). Cookies are read only by the site that set them, unless another site explicitly references them.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
affiliyo_session | Keeps you signed in across page loads. | Session only. Expires when you close the browser or sign out. | First-party |
XSRF-TOKEN | Prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions. | Session only. | First-party |
Stripe cookies | Set by Stripe during checkout to prevent fraud and process payments. | Varies. See Stripe's cookie policy. | Third-party (Stripe) |
What we don't do
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or profiling.
- No selling cookie data to third parties.
Analytics
If and when we add a site-analytics tool, we'll use a privacy-respecting option (like Plausible) that doesn't set cookies at all and doesn't collect personal data. If we ever add cookie-based analytics, we'll update this page and ask for consent first.
Managed URL click events
When someone clicks a managed URL (`go.affiliyo.com/...`), we log the click to give you analytics. We don't set a cookie on the visitor's browser for this. We record a server-side event with timestamp, referrer, and an anonymized IP. See the privacy policy for details.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most of the cookies we set are strictly necessary. Blocking them means you won't be able to stay signed in or submit forms.
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change how existing ones are used, we'll update this page and note the change at the top.
